Assalamualaikum and hello!
Tell me, what's your favourite eyeliner colour? I started with black liners at the age of 17, and I had a perception that only black eyeliners will help us achieve the best look. Three years passed and I finally opened up to brown liners, hehe! Earlier in September I had the chance to attend a kawaii makeup workshop with BCL and I found my first brown eyeliner love here!

The packaging of this eyeliner is just like all the normal ones out there. Plastic tube, super thin and definitely wallet friendly! You can even put it in your pocket if you're in a hurry and doesn't feel it there :)
Since it is a gel liner, it's lead is very soft and fragile. You must not twist out everything like the normal auto liners coz it is not retractable. Advise? Only twist out as little as possible for your use okay? Don't wanna waste the precious lead!
I use this brown liner for my waterline coz it gives me the oh so perfect look, like very natural look and I don't end up looking like a grunge kid or whatnot, hehe!
Here are the swatches. As you can see, 1 swatch gives a sheer line while triple swatch is enough to make your eyes pop. Since our waterline has a different surface than the skin on our eyelids, I usually did three layering back and forth on my waterline to get a fantastic color pop ^_^ I'm just so in love with its brown color and it has become my daily must wear!
I also tried it on my eyelids, and two swipes are enough to obtain a dark, definitely there brown line (or one heavy drawing of line would do). However, I have a different experience of staying power on eyelids for this eyeliner. I had it's cousin, the black liner on my lids and it was a whole different story. Will make a separate post for it okay?
Here's the most interesting part! The first time I wore it, I was out in the streets of KL for jalan-jalan cari makan. Our tropical Malaysian climate make me sweat a lot and I wiped my face a few times like nobody's business. Suddenly it drizzles, I got no umbrella so I just walk like nothing happened while thinking "habislah eyeliner, jadi panda eyes". But guess what? When I got home, the eyeliner at my waterlines are still there. It doesn't budge, it doesn't bleed, it doesn't transfer. So people, that's how I met my Holy Grail brown eyeliner for waterline ^_^
Refer to the above picture. I rubbed my hand very hard to test the eyeliner, and I can assure you nobody sane in this world would rub their eyes that hard like I did on my hands for this test. If you rub that hard you're certainly trying to get blind, or trying to press your eyeballs into your skull. So, no. The eyeliner does not totally disappear on hard rubbing :)
Overall, this is a perfect, must have must try must repurchase eyeliner!!
