As a believer of mask wonders to the skin, I have always been trying different types of masks be it mask packs or sheet masks. I have oily combination skin and therefore my preference is inclined towards clay mask, mud mask and hydrating gel masks, all in tubes because I rarely find sheet masks entertaining.

I have long learned about the existence of oxygenating mask and as far as I can remember, I might have tried it once a few years back but I really can't remember what brand it was. Thanks to b.liv who just introduced their latest skin saving product, I am now loaded with opinions regarding their O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask and Nano Bio-Cellulose Mask Sheet.

Lets start with the O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask first! b.liv claims that their O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is a purifying mask that combines oxygen bubble and rice powder to brighten and enliven complexion. This O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is made up of three main ingredients which are oxygen bubble for purifying the skin, rice powder that acts as brightening agent, and red soft beads for mild exfoliating. 

Who needs this mask? Well, for someone who is looking to achieve radiant and fresh looking skin, this O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is the right choice for you. It promotes cell regeneration, production of collagen and with disciplined use, it can help your skin to enhance the absorption and effectiveness of other skincare products that you layer on your skin.

Keep in mind that it is important for users to know proper handling and storage of this O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask. You definitely want your precious mask pack to be in good condition until its last drop, right? Here's some storage tips for b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask:

Just scoop the mask out with the spatula provided (don't dip your fingers into the tub, it's unhygienic) and smooth it out on your face, avoiding mouth and eye area. One thing I learned after a few times of using this mask on my face, it oxygenates fast, means it went bubbly very very fast so please massage the mask out on your face at a fair speed. You'll want to sit back and stare at your own reflection while the mask bubbles up and turns frothy, or you just wanna relax and enjoy the fizzy sensation on your face for 5-10 minutes. When the bubbling has stopped, gently massage the mask off your face and wash off with lukewarm water. I prefer to use a dampened washcloth because using hands only made me spare an extra effort to get all the slippery layer of this mask off my skin. 

Well, it is safe for me to say that my skin is loving this O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask because so far I have not experienced any adverse reactions to it. My skin felt smooth and super clean every time after I used this mask, and there was no redness or itchiness either. In terms of brightening, I can see that it does give a bright skin effect after use. Maybe with super disciplined, long-term dedication towards using this mask will help someone to get a brighter skin tone. Do give it a try!

Tips to enjoy your sheet mask more, store them in your fridge to ensure a cooling sensation. Assalamualaikum and hello! If you're suffering from dry skin problem then you've come to the right article coz I'm about to share my thoughts on this wonderful set of skincare that I've tried for almost two months. 

A bit of introduction on Gingko Natural. This leading Korean skincare range hits Malaysian market through the e-mall 11street and their main promise is to nourish skin to keep it feeling fresh and lively. Curated under the cosmetic giant Charmzone, Gingko Natural is an all-natural range of skincare products available across 20 countries such as China, Japan, USA and now Malaysia.

As you can see in the pictures below, Gingko Natural believes in simple skincare steps which is cleansing - toning - moisturizing to take care of the skin. 

As per the advice of Korean skincare steps, essence comes after toner and Gingko Naturals claim that their essence and emulsion work best together for moisturizing the skin. The essence performs to lock in moisture and repair the skin. These two have been helping me a lot in warding off the dry flakes on my skin. Before using these two, I used to experience difficulties in applying makeup due to dry spots on the sides of my nose and on my cheeks. I realized that I did not experience that difficulty anymore after one week ++ of using this range.

Assalamualaikum and hello! It's only fitting to review this item now as I am a few squeezes away to finishing it. I started experiencing this massive breakout on my face since the end of 2016. It's due to some stuff about hormonal imbalance mixed with inadequate rest and poor eating habit so there goes my good skin days. It's May 2017 now and I am still struggling with super bad skin condition but I will prevail, the battle is not over yet. There has been some improvements but nothing is good enough so far.

I invested in this 30ml tube of Kiehl's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment with a hope that it's gonna be my ultimate zit-buster. At a price tag of RM127.00 this thing is not cheap at least for me. Since Kiehl's Malaysia just launched it's online store at that time, I decided to purchase this along with a tub of mask. I'm not new to Kiehl's as I previously have tried their oil-free range and their shampoo. So far, I'm liking their products and they work well on me most of the time.

As a user with serious acne problem, this product is a 50-50 for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Maybe it depends on how bad the acne situation is for me. It is not entirely a magical stuff that one must buy. After months of using it, I realize that it works best on small, non-serious or non-cystic acne. On super large bumps that look like they come straight from hell, this baby doesn't work. 

Another effect that I got from using this cream is that my skin became a bit sensitive but it has been explained on the product packaging that this cream may cause peeling hence usage should be reduced if it happens. At first I used it daily before moisturizer in the morning and at night but after my skin started peeling I minimized my usage to every other day.  

The product doesn't have any uncomfortably weird smell so it's a plus point. It dries fast on skin and it doesn't feel greasy at all. I wish it could be potent on me because it has all the good points for me to repurchase but it seems like I am still on a quest to find a better acne treatment product.

If you're looking for an acne treatment solution and you only have small or occasional non-serious acne, I would suggest you to try this Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment because it works well on that kind of blemish. However it is up to you to try no matter what level of seriousness your acne problem is, because the response our skin gives is very personal and individual. Some might work on me but not on you, and vice versa. It's best to consult the brand's beauty advisor if you are serious in purchasing :)

So, my favourite K-Beauty store Althea has been launching beauty boxes every month to kick the boring out of our lives. I'm among the lucky makeup addict who scored one of their Red & Black Beauty Box and I'm gonna share my loots here along with my thoughts on whether it is worth grabbing or not :) 

At the price of just RM121, Althea Red & Black Beauty Box came with 7 full-sized items and the total discount that I enjoyed was about 77% off the normal total price of all items. First of all, this deal was crazy enough to send all available boxes flying off Althea's shelf in no time because it was too good to pass. Althea's beauty box is not a random sampling program whereby you pay for trial sachets. They let you enjoy legit full-sized and original products that will last you for months!

The first item that I cracked open was this Clio Smokey Pro Layering Eye Palette (Limited Edition). As the name goes, this very sturdy palette has a dark, smokey shades offering and it comes with a dual ended brush. Upon swatching all of the shades, I found that the colour payoff are quite sheer but buildable upon layering. Without primer, they won't last on oily lids + hot Malaysian weather but with primer, the colours stay well. Removing them was easy peasy as I have tried using Biore makeup wipes, The Saem cleansing water and also Faith in Face cleansing oil and they all dissolved easily. 

I'm not yet a shading and contouring pro. The best I've tried was using a bronzer to shade my jaws. I have a diamond face shape and I'm quite thin on the physical aspect so I was told by many that I don't really need shading as my facial features are already quite prominent. When I saw these 2 Secret Key Face Fit Contour Stick, I couldn't help myself but squeal in delight because I really wanna learn to improve my shading and contouring skills. Both shades, dark and medium are perfect for my tanned skin and they're not hard to blend either. I only use my fingers and a contouring brush to blend these two properly. I still have a lot to improve but in my opinion these two are perfect for beginners like me! Oh, these sticks are so fat they would last you for quite some time :)

Your brows speak for you before you can even open your mouth. Althea Red & Black beauty box gets your brows covered with Witch's Pouch Dual Brow Pencilcara. I have always loved using a brow mascara for my brows because that's the fastest way to make the sisters look equally presentable and it can be done anywhere too provided I have a mirror to look at. Seeing that this dual brow pencil comes with mascara and auto-pencil for precise drawing and shaping, it has become one of my makeup pouch essential due to its versatility. I no longer need to carry a separate brow mascara and a separate brow pencil, yeay!

This Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Grapefruit Jelly is as lovely as its name. The soft, cushiony feel of it makes me feel happy upon swatching the colour. The shade appears as a soft salmon-pink that unfortunately doesn't really show off well on my brown skin. 

Red has always been my favourite lip colour and this lip cream is my number one favourite among the 7 items in this Red & Black beauty box. Called the Mata Hari shade, this Mat Fix Matt Lip comes with a doe-foot applicator for easy and precise application on lips. Though the name is matt, this lip cream appears shiny and velvety at first. It only turns soft matte after the colour dries but it doesn't suck moisture out of my lips which is an absolute plus point. The colour on my lips turned to be of fiery red and not so vampy dark. It stays put throughout the day too, surviving meals with little fading. Major love ^_^

I have been following this local brand Velvet Vanity for quite some time, more like stalking their Insta to check out any latest update on what lip colour they're bringing out that I will really wanna buy. When they came up with a new version of packaging as you can see in this post, they captured my attention. I decided to buy one colour that I have been liking, the shade Slamberry and the purchase was also because at that point, I ran out of my favourite Pink Brown lip cream from RiRe Lip Manicure | review here |. 

I bought my Slamberry during Mimpikita warehouse sale and it was sold at RM49 each, such a steal! Ever since getting it, I have been wearing this every day because I really like the colour, the formula and its staying power. There's the ingredients list above if you're keen to know what's inside the tube :)

Like many other matte lip creams, you would know that some has a moisture-sucking formula so wearing a matte lip cream on chapped, dry lips is a big no-no. Velvet Vanity advises us to exfoliate lips first before using their lip cream for smooth application. Since I rarely get that dry, chapped lips problem, I always found that wearing Slamberry actually accentuates the volume of my lips without making it look flat matte or overly dried.

One thing that I'll always do is, I will gently exfoliate my lips with a toothbrush (super soft bristles) after I brush my teeth every night and then I'll layer on a coat of natural lip balm (I use Claire Organic's Yummy Lips lip treatment) before sleep to ensure that I have beautiful, smooth pair of lips when I wake up ^_^

I love everything about this lip cream, it exceeds my expectation and I never thought I would love a local cosmetic brand this much aside from Breena Beauty's brushes! I might be sceptical on many local skincare products because they're not convincing and they have ridiculous ads copy but I have to give credits to Velvet Vanity for scoring high on all my checklist. I really can't wait for more lip colours from them and I hope other local brands will fly high too, lets light up Malaysia on the world map for something good ya? Toodles!

Assalamualaikum and hello! Living in a tropical climate country, my main makeup concern would be something that won't melt under the sun and won't make me look like a shiny disco ball by 12 noon. The hot and humid weather is truly a vicious enemy to makeup, what more when I am the person who mostly walks everywhere (hello sweat, and hot weather!).

I realised that L'Oreal came out with Mat Magique 12HR Bright Mat Foundation when my fellow blogger/Youtuber friend Izzati posted her haul and I was like "okay, I need to get this one" because one, I was under huge stress (working and studying, what do you expect) and I need makeup shopping as therapy before I go bonkers and two, I love trying new makeup! I'm my own lab rat, remember?

So I went to Watsons KLCC and bought one, after a swatching session while being babbled by my classmate who accompanied me because he thought that I was just wasting time in front of the makeup shelf XD

I found that blending this foundation is only favourable when you use a brush or as Izzati said, use a beauty blender. I tried using my finger to see how it fares (if someday i need to re-apply makeup while I'm outside and I don't have a brush with me) but no, it doesn't work that way because of this foundation's consistency. L'Oreal Mat Magique 12H Bright Mat Foundation needs proper blending using a brush or a makeup sponge for you to look flawless with it.
