Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick comes with a ribbed chrome outer, which is kinda cute because it is not the typical lipstick packaging that we can always find on the shelves. It looks so beautiful and 'expensive' to my eyes, haha! Here are my attempts in trying to get the orange shade of this Matte Mandarin lipstick in pictures. It was hard as my camera seems to enjoy the reds more XD 

I have been using this Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick for more than 2 weeks now, thank god it's raya so I have more reason to wear this especially when I go out, the colour just made me happy! Sometimes I just wear it at home to see its staying power/longevity and then my brother and sister thought I was crazy, hahaha! I really love this Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick because it does not irritate my lips at all. It does not feel heavy or sticky on my lips. It does not dry my lips either even though I was fasting. There was one matte lipstick that made my lips feel very dry and chapped when I first wore it while fasting. Even though this is a matte lipstick, it gives a moist feeling to my lips and I don't even feel like wearing something matte at all. Another plus point is that, no matter how long I wear this Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick it does not seem to bleed at all ^_^

The staying power is marvelous too. It stays like it was freshly applied if I did not eat. Drinking with a straw does not budge the colour but drinking with a cup transfers a slight hint of colour and eating burger takes 50% of the colour off my lips. This Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick is so smooth that it glides effortlessly on my lips. I have pigmented lips but 2 light layers of Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick are actually enough to make my lips pop with this vibrant Matte Mandarin shade. 

So yeah, this is me wearing Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in Matte Mandarin with just 1 layer on (I am actually quite shy to share my own picture but oh well, it is not all the time I'm doing it, right? hehe!). Picture was taken inside a shopping mall so no natural lighting, and this was taken with a 5MP phone camera so forgive me for the low quality image. The first impression of my friend upon meeting me was "why is your lips that red?" because he is not used to seeing me sporting such vibrant colour, and plus the mall's lighting was not much of a help in showing the orange tint =_='' I usually will not put much makeup on if I have this Matte Mandarin on my lips. I will only wear some BB cream or powder foundation, jet black winged eyeliner and this Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in Matte Mandarin. I get that million dollar look already with it, hehe! Overall, I shall say that Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick is by far the best matte lipstick I ever tried. The most winning attributes of Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick that I love is that it is very pigmented and it does not make my lips dry. It is buttery but matte on the lips, yes! If you are interested, there are 8 shades to choose (6 swatches can be seen at Pixiwoo's review) and if I were asked to choose, I would go for Matte Crimson and Matte Peony after this, I really love both colours from the swatches I've seen!
