Assalamualaikum and hello! Raya is just around the corner and maybe it is now or never for you to start shopping your beauty stash and look smashing during raya ^_^ Joining the festive bandwagon is no other than my number one favourite K-Beauty online shop Althea and they're here with irresistible Raya offers you can't miss!

One thing I adore about Althea is that they're always very genuine in immersing themselves with the festive celebration hence the change of box designs. This Raya, they've come out with two different designs of limited edition Ramadan box as pictured in the image above. Don't they look so suci and pretty? I want them both! Althea's box designs have always been so on point and they can serve as a decorative item in your room, on your shelves or even as a gift box that needs no wrapper at all.

Assalamualaikum and hello! It's only fitting to review this item now as I am a few squeezes away to finishing it. I started experiencing this massive breakout on my face since the end of 2016. It's due to some stuff about hormonal imbalance mixed with inadequate rest and poor eating habit so there goes my good skin days. It's May 2017 now and I am still struggling with super bad skin condition but I will prevail, the battle is not over yet. There has been some improvements but nothing is good enough so far.

I invested in this 30ml tube of Kiehl's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment with a hope that it's gonna be my ultimate zit-buster. At a price tag of RM127.00 this thing is not cheap at least for me. Since Kiehl's Malaysia just launched it's online store at that time, I decided to purchase this along with a tub of mask. I'm not new to Kiehl's as I previously have tried their oil-free range and their shampoo. So far, I'm liking their products and they work well on me most of the time.

As a user with serious acne problem, this product is a 50-50 for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Maybe it depends on how bad the acne situation is for me. It is not entirely a magical stuff that one must buy. After months of using it, I realize that it works best on small, non-serious or non-cystic acne. On super large bumps that look like they come straight from hell, this baby doesn't work.

Another effect that I got from using this cream is that my skin became a bit sensitive but it has been explained on the product packaging that this cream may cause peeling hence usage should be reduced if it happens. At first I used it daily before moisturizer in the morning and at night but after my skin started peeling I minimized my usage to every other day.

The product doesn't have any uncomfortably weird smell so it's a plus point. It dries fast on skin and it doesn't feel greasy at all. I wish it could be potent on me because it has all the good points for me to repurchase but it seems like I am still on a quest to find a better acne treatment product.

If you're looking for an acne treatment solution and you only have small or occasional non-serious acne, I would suggest you to try this Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment because it works well on that kind of blemish. However it is up to you to try no matter what level of seriousness your acne problem is, because the response our skin gives is very personal and individual. Some might work on me but not on you, and vice versa. It's best to consult the brand's beauty advisor if you are serious in purchasing :)

P/s : this is not a sponsored post. Product was bought using my own money. Thanks for reading!

I was recently introduced to two health and beauty supplement products from Mediherba Solutions at a blogger get-together session and I feel the need to share it here :) The managing director Puan Rohasniza Rosli explained in her speech that she was motivated to create these two products named Gula-Gula Magic (GGM) and Jus D'Ria due to a few reasons. Her creation of GGM is aimed to help women to overcome period pain, irregular period and at the same time helps to promote skin clarity without selling on the word 'collagen' because GGM does not contain collagen like many other supplements. As for Jus D'Ria, it was meant for her son who suffers eczema since baby. Her determination to find an alternative cure for her son was fruitful when Jus D'Ria emerged as one solution that is able to help treat eczema, sinus, asthma and many more.

There are 2 tablets of apple and chocolate flavour in the tub of GGM which is recommended for 15 days plan. Consume 1 chocolate tablet in the morning and 1 apple tablet at night for best result. Their tagline of Jelita Tanpa Derita is made true by the way of consumption where the user only needs to chew these amazingly tasty tablets. As I am halfway through finishing my 1st tub of GGM, I can vouch that GGM is delicious and it majorly tastes like goat milk tablet. As I sometimes have late period due to my high stress in work and studies, I am hoping that my consumption of GGM will be beneficial to treat my problem. GGM is suitable to be consumed by men and women from teenage to adults who aim for internal and external beauty without much hassle. The price for 1 tub would be RM69 for Pen. Msia and RM79 for East Msia

Jus D'Ria contains super ingredients such as aloe vera, pomegranate, ginger, echinacea, oregano, garlic, dong quai, akar manis, acai berry, camu-camu, vitamin C, apple stem cell, argan stem cell and stevia. The recommended dosage would be 10ml for adults and 3-5ml for kids starting from age 6 months onwards and it is to be consumed twice a day. Users must use plastic spoon or anything non-metal with Jus D'Ria as to preserve its goodness. The bottle of 30ml juice can be bought at RM88 in Pen. Msia and RM98 for East Malaysia.

In conjunction of International Women's Day 2017, Stellavingze International had invited an army of strong women for an exclusive female-only get together session at Melilea APHQ Bangsar South to discuss on the role of women in today's world. As an organisation that empowers women to be independent, resourceful and strong, Stellavingze International made the best decision when they invited the role model of a strong, independent and successful woman to lead the event which is the president of Yayasan Suara Wanita, Tan Sri Datin Paduka Seri Hajah Zaleha Ismail. Flanked by Datin Azizan Hj Shariff (President of Majlis Pembangunan Wanita & Keluarga), Datin Noor Faezah Mohd Ashraf (vice president of Yayasan Wanita Cemerlang) and Ms Wee Siew Ling (President of Stellavingze International), the conference talk was one to be remembered

The International Women's Day serves as a reminder to all women in this world that they are worth more than what they think. Women, though always have been labelled as delicate, is also steel-tough. Women today leads as politicians, capable of handling matters that were men-exclusive in the past. Women today are celebrated sportsperson, top CEOs, superbly talented artistes, scientists with groundbreaking researches, holders of Nobel awards and yet we still are the successful wife, mother, daughter and sister too at home. Clearly women today has shown that we grow up better than what is expected of us and we don't show any signs of slowing down.

The conference talk was led by Tan Sri Datin Paduka Seri Hajah Zaleha Ismail where she started on the importance of being a knowledgeable woman regardless of who you are. No matter if you are a working woman, a stay at home mother or a college student, be knowledgeable in many ways and never put your other responsibilities (i.e: i have a baby, i don't have the time to learn other skills) as a stopper to advancing your knowledge and making full use of it. Tan Sri reminded us women to never be stingy with knowledge as it is meant to be shared. The biggest loss in one's live is to die with knowledge that never had the chance to reach someone else. Since knowledge is an asset, women must know how to utilise her resources to ensure that she gains something from the knowledge that she has. Skilled women too must be punctual in everything she signed up for. As a woman, it is known that we juggle a family with husband, kids and house chores but we too have our social lives and responsibilities out there as women of the community. Women today must be physically, mentally and emotionally balanced to ensure that she becomes a perfect role model for everyone in her family and also in the community. We were also reminded that even we aren't a country's president, we too are leaders. We lead our family, our siblings and the extended family through a showcase of good deeds as a respectable woman.

In all honesty, I am proud to be a woman and I encourage all women out there to be brave and stop the stigma that women are made to be at home. Women today needs to be brave enough to step out of their safe zone and explore the world with its endless possibilities. Long gone were the days where women got objectified as the fragile petals of roses. Women today are women who takes charge of her own happiness, her family's well-being and her nation's success. Happy International Women's Day 2017 to all women of the world ^_^
