Radia Bukit Jelutong - Residence, Retail and Office in One Strategic Development
Sunday, March 19, 2017
I remember the years I spent in Shah Alam for my 1st degree,
sometimes I had to make my way to Puncak Alam to another campus and on the way
I’ll pass Bukit Jelutong, a quiet mostly residential area surrounded with lush
greeneries. I always thought how lucky one could be to own a property at Bukit
Jelutong due to the fact that its population is of low density and that the
area is not laden with skyscrapers and vehicle noises.
UEM Sunrise and Sime Darby Property must have had the same wish as I do
when they entered a 50:50 partnership to develop the area with their first baby
called Radia Bukit Jelutong. Launched in late 2013 and its final development
from the 4 phases pegged to be in 2018, it is believed that project Radia will
significantly grow and catalyse the Bukit Jelutong area to become a viable and
popular business and commercial hub for the surrounding region.
The three main offerings of Radia would be Radia Residences, Radia
Retail and Radia Offices. With
its design inspired by the ‘fauborg’ - an ancient French term that carries the
meaning ‘suburb’, the entire layout of Radia consists of wide pedestrian spaces
with an extensive retail promenade to emulate the style and design of Las
Rambles in Barcelona.
Radia Retail comes with 152 units of one, two and three storey units
ranging from 376 sqf to 2779 sqf wide. The selling price of these outlets start
from RM1mil onward. With 17-feet long pedestrian walkway and 708 parking bays,
the future owners and visitors of Radia Retail outlets does not need to worry
about the space’s accessibility.
Radia Office features 238 units of office blocks housed in two 10-storeys
development blocks. With lots ranging from 825sqf to 2097sqf, prospective
companies will have a few choices to go with before deciding on their best
option.
Radia Residences comprise of 6 different residences at 5 blocks of
service apartments ranging from 695 sqf (one bedroom unit), units of 2 bedrooms
and up to units of duplex with the size of 2100 sqf. These units comes with a
balcony or without balcony depending on their respective sizes. As I have been
given the opportunity to tour the show units during their CNY celebration, I
must say that all these residence units are tastefully designed and they
definitely make me feel like owning one.

Residences as access card is a must to enjoy all the facilities. It shows that
the developer is serious in ensuring the well-being of the residents of Radia.
Residents too will not have to worry about getting a parking slot or getting their
vehicles blocked by double-parked cars as there will be ample car parks for
Radia community. Moreover, with the availability of Guthrie Corridor
Expressway, NKVE, Federal Highway and ELITE Highway, connectivity is out of
question for the future residents of Radia Bukit Jelutong as they will have
