assalamualaikum and hello ^_^ alhamdulillah last friday i finally got my own room, after five days of waiting. Allah knows best, He gave me a ground floor room of four, with 100% new furniture set. the moving in part was the most exhausting moment as there were only two of us, me and my buddy mazlina. our room had just been renovated. new furniture moved in, new coats of paint (pastel pink color) and the railing for curtain is not even there yet. so dont ask me how i put the curtains on, hehe #survival skills. mazlina and i did the whole cleaning process, we swept the floor, mopped it for three times, cleaned the windowpanes and the new-but-dusty furniture. even the bed and the still-wrapped-in-plastic mattress are dusty and need to be wiped with wet cloth. after four hours only we managed to get the cleaning part done and had our possessions taken from the old room we stayed in. i had 3/4 of my stuffs in my ex-roommate's room at another building so mazlina and i were very lucky to find a very big trolley to be used during the moving-in process. besides, we were also very lucky to have the elevator working finely during fetching my stuffs on the second floor. another 2 person in this room are yet to surface from darkness, i dont know them and they were not originally from this college, coz they're quantity surveying students from Anggerik college. these are a few pictures of my new room and the fully loaded trolley we used to carry our stuffs ^_^

overall,
i'm impressed with the changes. about the locker, i wonder how not-so-tall
people are gonna reach for the topmost shelf easily. a 156cm lady like me have
to climb through my bed's railing to really utilize the top shelf. or in a civilized
way, use the chair. the mirror is also placed at a higher level than usual, and
my friend over here is having difficulty as she is shorter than me, hehe.
however, there are a lot of other aspects that the management department need
to seriously take care of, especially in the maintenance of the toilets and
shower rooms. leakages and flooding is happening here and there (T_T)
insyaAllah, i will find myself a free time to make a report as soon as possible
so that they can fix the problems. again, thank you Allah for giving me the
room, thank you dear friends and readers for your prayers to ease my problems
here, may god bless us all ^_^
Assalamualaikum and hello everyone ! Last two weeks i was very hyped as i received an email from my favourite makeup brand, Silkygirl saying that they would like to send me some of their new arrivals for trial and review purpose. It was like a miracle falling from the sky as i have been eyeing on one of their latest collection, the lip pot range. Finally, the parcel arrived last thursday, together with another parcel containing a headscarve i received from a giveaway ^_^ double happiness !!
and let's see what's inside it, shall we ?
left to right : Moistureshine Lipcolor (03 Baby Rose), Fruity Trio Lip Balm, Precision Brow Liner (01 Soft Black), Juicy Fruity Lip Pot
strawberry ?
a very useful 4GB strawberry pendrive :D
besides that, Silkygirl also included a box of dates in that package, since it is the month of Ramadhan right now. what a thoughtful team they are!
alright for this post, i wanna focus on the Fruity Trio Lip Balm first.
A
delectable butter soft lip balm with three layers of unique flavors, each
designed to give the lips a pink bloom. With beeswax and shea butter,
properties to condition and hydrate lips so it remains soft and smooth. Also
contains macadamia seed oil, a natural emollient to lock in moisture, resulting
in supple lips.
i can't help but love the color combination ! this is the most adorable and cheerful lip balm i ever found, seriously. i applied it on my lips and yes, it does give my lips a slight hint of pink, which is totally great especially for those with pale colored lips ^_^ it also has a subtle smell of strawberry as the topmost layer is strawberry flavored. i did a sniff test on the yellow and green parts, and yes, it smelled just like lemon and grape. oh, i was very curious to know if this lip balm has any taste,
especially with the lingering of strawberry smell on my lips, so i
licked it a bit and found that it does not have any taste :p it moisturizes my lips on the spot, glides on very smoothly like a dream and the staying power is quite amazing since it lasts a good three hours on my lips! besides, i would also like to highlight the SPF 15 function equipped on this cutesy lip balm. remember dearies, as much as we care to apply sunblock onto our face, never forget that our lips also need the same protection. so, i would definitely say yes to lip care products with SPF :)
overall, Silkygirl Fruity Trio Lipbalm is the lip balm that i will always have on the go as it hydrates my lips well, decorates my lips with a pretty hint of pink, has a delicious fruity (strawberry/lemon/grape) smell and it saves me the hassle of reapplying for every hour :D

today, uitm babies received their last semester's result. mine was okay, the graph went perfectly constant, no dive no hike. it is 3.65, like what i received for my first semester doing EPC in UiTM Shah Alam :D alhamdulillah, i am very grateful towards the Almighty for His surprise. i sincerely expected a dive in my pointer as i felt that the courses were much more difficult than last semesters'. I scored 2As, 4A-, 1B+ and 1B. the B+ was an accident as i flunked the second test for that subject by carelessly losing myself a perfect 20 marks =_='' but it's alright, i have learned from my mistakes and this should be a lesson for me, so that i will be more careful next time. there are some people, whom i feel very jealous towards them for their achievements. i wanna be as excellent as them. and i promise to myself that i will not let another 4 semesters pass without me getting more than them. i hope Allah will always guide me with His love and protection. ahaa, i would like to congratulate my closest girlfriends in shah alam ----> leen (3.9o seriously sooo damn high), wawa (3.5), ayu (3.8++), aini (3.77), maz (3.52) and iza (3.64). to farris and fafat, congrates for your 3.80 and i'll try harder next sem, i swear. to someone dear to me, you know who you are, (i dont wanna make your name public even though i have done it already in the past) congrates for the hike in your result ^_^ just so you know that i am always here to help, and thanks a lot too, for being there through thick and thin. i want you to attend the dinner on your own name, and i'll make sure you do it! to all my fellow friends from whatever courses you are, congratulations and be grateful coz there are always others who did not have the chance to pursue education like us. fret not, the journey is still long and we have a lot of time to amend what damage we had caused earlier. lastly, let the healthy competition begin !!!

Assalamualaikum, hey guys ! I'm kinda hungry right now so after rummaging through my pictures folder, i saw some mouth-watering images to share with you all ^_^ Well, i'm gonna make a review on a restaurant i went in Seksyen 7 Shah Alam before the semester break. Named HAUS, the restaurant serves various types of Malaysian cuisine and western dishes, along with fruit juices. in my opinion, the ambience of the restaurant was very cool and romantic. I like the way they decorate the interior and exterior as well. For your information, the restaurant provides two dining spaces, one closed area with aircond and fan, and another open area which suits people who loves the company of natural wind while eating. besides, there are also some musics on so that your dinner won't be dead silent as the graveyard :P besides what's already on the menu, Haus also offers a daily promotional set (1 dish + 1 drink), so you can actually save some money there ^_^ let's move to the pictures, and the food review!
we ordered grilled chicken chop (promotional set with lemon juice, RM9.90), lamb chop (RM14.90) and a large glass of mango juice. sincerely speaking, the lamb chop and the grilled chicken chop was among the best i ever tasted ! the meat was very very tender, no such thing as meat strips getting stuck on your teeth upon eating. the black pepper gravy was thick and moderately spiced. besides, you'll also find your plate loaded with coleslaw, baked baby tomatoes, garlic bread and potato salad (the potatoes were hidden under the meat in this picture). everything was very delicious, i would asked for more if my tummy was not already full, no joking :D personally, i love the potatoes very much, i wonder what recipe they used for it ? hehe~ the drinks, on the other hand, were okay. but i do hope they can improve it more so that it will be as excellent as the foods :)
another thing that i liked about HAUS is that the staffs there were very welcoming and friendly. there were not many customer yet when i arrived, and the staffs did come to my table for 2-3 times to ask whether i need anything more, and they also asked me if the food was alright, how does it taste and whether i have anything to comment about their cooking. i really enjoyed my dinner so much that day and all my exam stress went away. i obviously cannot wait to pay a monthly visit there as soon as the new semester starts this september ^_^
