Assalamualaikum, hey guys ! I'm kinda hungry right now so after rummaging through my pictures folder, i saw some mouth-watering images to share with you all ^_^ Well, i'm gonna make a review on a restaurant i went in Seksyen 7 Shah Alam before the semester break. Named HAUS, the restaurant serves various types of Malaysian cuisine and western dishes, along with fruit juices. in my opinion, the ambience of the restaurant was very cool and romantic. I like the way they decorate the interior and exterior as well. For your information, the restaurant provides two dining spaces, one closed area with aircond and fan, and another open area which suits people who loves the company of natural wind while eating. besides, there are also some musics on so that your dinner won't be dead silent as the graveyard :P besides what's already on the menu, Haus also offers a daily promotional set (1 dish + 1 drink), so you can actually save some money there ^_^ let's move to the pictures, and the food review!

we ordered grilled chicken chop (promotional set with lemon juice, RM9.90), lamb chop (RM14.90) and a large glass of mango juice. sincerely speaking, the lamb chop and the grilled chicken chop was among the best i ever tasted ! the meat was very very tender, no such thing as meat strips getting stuck on your teeth upon eating. the black pepper gravy was thick and moderately spiced. besides, you'll also find your plate loaded with coleslaw, baked baby tomatoes, garlic bread and potato salad (the potatoes were hidden under the meat in this picture). everything was very delicious, i would asked for more if my tummy was not already full, no joking :D personally, i love the potatoes very much, i wonder what recipe they used for it ? hehe~ the drinks, on the other hand, were okay. but i do hope they can improve it more so that it will be as excellent as the foods :)

another thing that i liked about HAUS is that the staffs there were very welcoming and friendly. there were not many customer yet when i arrived, and the staffs did come to my table for 2-3 times to ask whether i need anything more, and they also asked me if the food was alright, how does it taste and whether i have anything to comment about their cooking. i really enjoyed my dinner so much that day and all my exam stress went away. i obviously cannot wait to pay a monthly visit there as soon as the new semester starts this september ^_^

i will never forget how much i suffered during my second semester as EPC student. the workloads were not funny, and with the aid of procrastination i made myself the most stressed student :D *silly me* Well, not actually the most stressed as i managed to finish everything, i did not skip any assignments and i got good group mates (although sometimes people can be the nastiest pain in the ass, including me). alhamdulillah, i completed my second semester with heaps of life lessons. i met people i don not really like working with, i met people who gave me a 'slap' of reality of who i really am, i met people who always looked very relaxed till they sometimes made me pissed off of their carefree-ness :P and the most important thing, i met people who made me see the world and life better than my initial thought. i also got new classmates, and some old classmates changed their groups, for fun ? i dont know, hehe.. i just wanna show some pictures of how messy my second semester was, or was it just me and my friends ? naah, i dont care. the reason i snapped those pictures was because i wanna show it here. it was taken during the completion of our bloodiest assignments, the most stressing and confusing, till it made us felt like "what am i learning actually?". even other class's lecturer said "if you felt dizzy learning this, it shows that you are on the right track" wtf ? hahaha!

okay these are the pics of me and my groupmates (farris, ijat, maz) during the final touch-up of our Multimedia Instructional Project Concept Paper, in the super crowded library at the engineering tower (PTAR 3). unfortunately on that day we had to sit on the floor, between the aisles as all the tables were occupied already :'( we actually have another lady in the group, fatin fatinah @ fafat but due to her health condition she couldn't attend the party. we had to do something like a paperwork or framework or whatever it is called, of an instructional CD that we are going to develop later on our third semester. we had to read the boring textbook (black and small fonts on grey paper, with messy diagrams here and there, no fancy colors no images whatsoever, very thick) and 'understand' the 'easy' instructions then make our own concept paper. it took us the whole semester, week by week progress and my group's paper was wrongly made since the beginning XD okay it wasn't that bad actually, we were just wrong at the diagram parts, whereas on the essay parts were all marvelous ^_^ I really hope to get an A for this subject, please~

assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera and salam 1 Malaysia to all :) well, this post is specially dedicated to those who will be registering in UiTM Shah Alam this September for English for Professional Communication (EPC) degree, especially my juniors from UiTM Lendu. Anyway, other courses' students are also welcome to read and ask anything (but don't ask me about your course or faculty as i might not know anything about it), insyaAllah i'll try to answer your questions. okay, lets get started !


     For social science & business students, you will be registering on September 2, Sunday.  during that day, your parents car will not be parked at the college. everyone will be directed to padang kawad, park your car there, unload your belongings and get on the bus with other families. yes, UiTM's bus. the bus will bring you straight to Kolej Mawar.

      the moment you step down from the bus, you will be given random room keys from the registration personnel. if you want to be in a room (4 pax) with your friends, refuse the key given to you and say "thanks, but i'm waiting for my friends coz we want to be in the same room". please arrive at the same time or wait till all four of you are there (ada khemah menunggu) and then only you approach the registration personnel, tell them that you guys want to be in the same room and she'll give you four room keys. easy :) please have courtesy with the personnel in order to avoid complications on the first day.
 
     you will probably have no time to switch on your laptop during orientation week. if you have to bring it (in case rumah jauh, tak praktikal nak balik selalu) please keep it safe, locked in your locker. you can wrap it in kain batik and letak la bawah lipatan kain baju kalau boleh. make sure it's hidden. there have always been cases of stolen laptops during the first week. so beware.

-attire for the week : girls- baju kurung and kasut bertutup. no high heels if possible. you'll suffer. bring along handyplast, possibilities untuk kaki melecet sangat tinggi.
-wanna avoid traffic congestion on that sunday ? arrive before 10am.
-briefing starts at 5pm on that registration day. bring along your purse, phone, gambar passport, gam, telekung, notepad, pen.

-bring a foldable umbrella that fits in your bagpack/handbag/watever bag
-always have a bottle of water with you
-use sunscreen, its very hot in shah alam and you dont wanna get sunburn
-tissue/hanky is a must, you'll be sweating buckets
-girls : bawa sehelai baju kurung warna putih plain and kain warna hitam. ada event yg wajib pakai this attire. x kisah la kurung biasa atau moden.
-hand sanitizer
-if you're going to DATC (Dewan Agong Tunku Cancelor) for any talks, bring a sweater. its damn cold in there.
-have a novel/comic in ur bag coz sometimes you have to wait a long time for something, its boring

glad to hear that some of my asasi tesl lendu juniors received the offer for EPC course in UiTM Shah Alam. i hope that they will come here mentally and physically ready. truth be told that English for Professional Communication is a fun course, but bear in mind the workload is not funny. hahaha! reminiscing my semester 1 and semester 2 hard times, i swear to god i really want to stop procrastinating from now on. and i really hope i will not find it very difficult during semester 3 ahead. and please, i want to go to all Dean's List dinner till my last semester, you know what i mean ^_^  i don't want the DL dinner i went to last June to be the only one, hehe.. oh yes, i want all my classmates to be crowned with DL award, i want the dinner hall to be full of group A students, i love them all, no matter what :)
