When I was on the hospital bed earlier in October, I received a call from Nationwide Express, saying that they were standing in front of my rented house to deliver my parcel. Since I won't be back until a week later, I just had to stay calm and patient, wondering what parcel could it be~

The day arrived when I was finally able to pick it up at Nationwide's office. I couldn't contain my excitement upon seeing the box inside, it's the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner!

I really appreciate the fact that Natta Cosme did some personalization like writing our names on the box, on the card and including extras like the cards in an envelope, sparing us an excellent pack of cotton puffs and letting us try a sample pack of the famous Egyptian Magic Cream. Oh, we got a fortune cookie like thingy too, but it is in a medicine capsule :D how creative!

The cotton puff stated above is no ordinary puffs that leave cottony residue on your face. I personally have used them with the toner and it rocks! They stick together in one piece, they're not messy or thin like the ordinary cotton puff and they're very soft to my skin ^_^

As for its practicality, you can see that the bottle is big, so it is not really suitable to be carried around in your handbag. It also can take up much space in your toiletries bag/luggage. Love it too much and can't live without it? Here's a solution for you ;) Go to Daiso, Watson, Guardian or SaSa and buy travel size bottles for skincare ^_^ There are many types of it available, with normal round cap, spray cap or pump type, so you can choose at ease!
I also don't have a problem with the cap of this toner's bottle. Since the toner is watery-like, Thayers is thoughtful enough to ensure the dispensing hole made to a small size so that it won't be a total mess in case of spilling. 

I have been using this toner for 2 weeks, and I have some very interesting experience to share with you guys. At first the toner stings, and my face felt 'hot' upon application. I saw other Butterflies experiencing the same issue too, but I decided it was nothing. Over the next few days, the stinging sensation recedes, and now it does not hurt my skin at all. Why it stung at first? Err, I also don't have an answer for that :p

Oh one more thing, I really love the rose scent of this toner! It makes me feel alive and high-spirited early in the morning, and when I use it after cleansing my face in the evening, the smell made me feel relaxed ^_^ well, I love roses so yeah :p

Sorry I don't have a picture of the cotton pad after wiping the toner on my face. I learned from Mywomenstuff through Love4Beauti (my lecturer must be proud of me for applying citation method in this blog post!!) that when applying toner to your face using a cotton pad :

• if the cotton pad turns brown : your makeup is not thoroughly removed, please change your cleanser coz it's not working well
• if the cotton pad turns grey : caused by dead skin cells

Since I'm using Bifesta Sebum Makeup Remover (for oily skin) and it works beyond excellent in removing my makeup, I only found my cotton pad grey after wiping the toner on my face, yeayy!

Overall, I love Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner ^_^ Though I started with a slight confusion as it stings/gave my skin a mild burning sensation, it turned out okay up till now. I can now feel my skin has become smoother and less dull than before, must be the magic from Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner :D

I really recommend you guys to try Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner. Apart from the economical size and price, it does work wonders on my skin, and I trust it will work just the same with you too, or even better ^_^ who knows, right? I think my bottle is enough to last me at least a year. Poor my other toners, I think I have to be fair in rotating the use :p macam kahwin empat pula nak kena be fair
