How well do you know the cancer types that are common among Malaysian women? Apart from breast cancer, cervical cancer is now ranked the 3rd most common cancer attacking Malaysia women till today. Cervical cancer is caused by the abnormal growth of cells in the cervix part, which is the lower part of women's uterus. It spreads very fast and according to statistics, 2 to 3 cases are confirmed daily >.< Almost 99.7% of cervical cancer cases is caused by the HPV (human papiloma virus) infections

As the world is now advancing forward, many governments has taken the appropriate step in curbing cervical cancer from taking more lives. Malaysian women are very lucky because the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Kebajikan dan Masyarakat) is currently in full force of providing FREE HPV VACCINATION PROGRAM ^_^


The HPV Vaccination Program (PVHPV) is a vaccination program initiated by Population and Family Development Board Malaysia (LPPKN) under the prevision of Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM). The main objective for this vaccination program is to reduce the load of disease as a cause of Cervical Cancer for the next 20 years to come.

Under the government's initiative, from 2nd October 2013 to 16th November 2013, LPPKN will be going to universities in Klang Valley, Sabah and Sarawak to give out free vaccination to all the selected university students. The programs will start at 9am and ends at 4pm.

Taylor's University College @Syopz - 2nd October 2013
Tunku Abdul Rahman University College - 9th October 2013
Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA) - 23rd October 2013
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) - 2nd November 2013
1Borneo Mall - 12th November 2013
UNIMAS (Sarawak) - 14th November 2013

The goal for this vaccination drive is to:
  • ·   To administer HPV vaccination to all women from the age of 18 to 25 that belongs to the "catch up group"
  • ·   To protect Malaysian women from the risk of HPV infection
  • ·   To lessen the risk of cervical cancer among women in Malaysia. 


The campaign will kickstart at Taylor's University College @Syopz on 2nd October 2013. How to get there? Don't worry, here's a map for you!

Oh wait, we have more for you! To all girls heading for the HPV vaccination, there will be a LUCKY DRAW for you, yeayy!! Here's the task :

Apart from attending the roadshows, eligible girls can also get their vaccination at any 58 LPPKN Nur Sejahtera Clinics and health centres in all public universities around Malaysia. Although this roadshow will be on selected campuses, it is open for anybody to attend it okay? Don't be shy to come for your free vaccination, girls :) Complete your three doses, and you'll get a pass to a concert of Malaysian renowned-artistes that is scheduled to be on the second quarter of 2014 ;)
