Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick & Lipgloss : New Shades, New Formula!

Assalamualaikum and hello ^_^
Women and lipstick complements each other, and that is why Revlon has never stopped creating new lipstick formulas for us! As a fan of Revlon lip butter and lip balm stain, I was enthralled upon the invitation to discover the new Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick and Lipgloss. The event was held at Marmalade Cafe, Bangsar Village 2 on September 26th. Thanks a lot Sabrina Tajudin for inviting me ;) The event was made success by team MIVVA and Revlon, big clap to them!
There was an introduction to the new Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick formula and shades by Revlon. We bloggers get to experience the new lipsticks and I found that this will be my new favourite! Why? Coz they glides on smoothly like a dream! These new lipsticks are different from other lipsticks because they are not drying, even though multiple layering is needed to get an opaque finish. If you are the person who does not like opaque lipsticks on one swatch, then you must go get yourself this set ^_^ The colors are all gorgeous and suitable for daily wear.
One special thing about this lipstick's packaging is their transparent top. Customers will get to see the exact color of the lipstick before purchasing, thus minimizing the chance of getting the wrong shade in the absence of testers.
We were then taught by a makeup artist on how to do 3D lips. The trick is to use some powder shadow on the center of our lips. For full tutorial, click here.
We were also introduced to Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss. With 8 new shades and new formula too, these glosses are not very sticky, much to my delight! They also don't feel heavy at all on the lips. Under the light, I could see that this lip gloss contain fine gold dusts too. It gives a glamorous shiny effect on the wearer's lips.
Next up was the makeup challenge. There were makeup items prepared for us to use. We bloggers were given several minutes to create the most super lustrous look and stand a chance to win a Revlon hamper. There was suppose to be a lipstick making session at first but due to space constraint, it can't be done there.
We girls can't get enough of these stuffs, seriously. We kept on applying until there were no more time left for us to touch up, hehe. Sabrina poured all the brushes she bought on the table and it was definitely our saviour! It was funny remembering how the only eye shadow palette was passed from one girl to another, among the four of us XD Actually the workstation became a hot mess during and after our makeover, head over to Sabrina Tajudin's and Sabby Prue's post to see what we've done :p

Marmalade Cafe did prepare a selection of tasty meals for us to munch throughout the session. Sabby mentioned to me that the best meal at Marmalade Cafe would be the Avocado Salad and Spaghetti Aglio Olio. She was right, I can't wait to come back for more!
Besides the lipstick and lip gloss, Revlon also has another two new superstars added to the Absolute Radiance+ range, which are the Revlon Absolute Radiance+ CC Cream and Two Way Powder Foundation.
Absolute Radiance+ 2-way powder foundation is formulated to even-out skin tone, bringing the skin to a new level of luminosity and a flawless complexion.
On the other hand, Absolute Randiance+ CC Cream has the properties that can hydrate, minimizes pores and color corrects in just 7 days. Its formula is lightweight and this CC cream is available in 3 different shades.
Last but not least, we had a group photo session too with everyone before the workshop ends.

We did not leave empty handed! Each of us were given a goodie bag each which contains a Super Lustrous Lipstick, Lipgloss and a pouch. Thanks a lot MIVVA and Revlon for having us on that day ^_^
