I was invited to the launch of Neutrogena's latest addition to their Hydra Boost range, which is Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel SPF30 PA++. During the event, we were briefed about the importance of skin hydration and sun protection. Personally, I agree that some Malaysian does not really care about skin hydration and sun protection. People with oily skin thought that they don't need to use moisturizer, while sun protection here in Malaysia is only considered when people are going for outdoor activities like camping. Why I said this? Because I was the one with such mentality too, and when I go to drug stores I always saw mothers talking to SA about getting a sunblock for her kids coz the kids are going for camping next weekend. Now, I see that people are lazy to wear sunscreen because they do not fancy layering products on their face, and the thought of getting their face oily is another mess they don't want to encounter during the day. During the event, firstly we were given a bag full of Hydro Boost range but there are another 2 products missing. We were required to attend Station 1 and Station 2 to redeem another 2 products. Station 2 is where we wrote our pledge to beauty skin on a props and the official photographer will take a photo of us, it was just like a mini photo booth.  

The event started with introduction about Neutrogena Hydra Boost range, followed by a talk by dermatologist about the biology of skin and what happens if we don't take serious consideration on keeping our skin hydrated and protected from the harmful UV rays.

After that, a R&D specialist from Neutrogena too explained about the structure of the new Hydra Boost Gel SPF30 PA++ and another representative from Neutrogena came forward to teach us the steps of using Neutrogena Hydra Boost range.
