Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Review
Sunday, December 28, 2014
Assalamualaikum and hello! It's gonna be my second review for Makeup Revolution Malaysia products after its Lip Power that I did previously ;) Some of you who have been following me for quite some time must know that I am not a blusher-friendly person until recently. When I started wearing blusher, I chose warm tones over pinkish tones because I thought that my dark skin won't look flattering with pink blusher. However, my concerned friends helped me to change that mentality and they said if we choose or blend the right shade, we will look awesome no matter what ^_^ Thank you Makeup Revolution Malaysia for sending me this extremely pretty Blushing Hearts triple baked blusher, which as you can see, is a pink blusher, something I yet to have the full courage to wear XD owning and using this Blushing Hearts makes me step out of my comfort zone!
Blushing Hearts consists of 3 blushers from the I ♡ Makeup range offered by Makeup Revolution, and if you are looking for a bronzer and highlighter, fret not coz apart from blushers they are also available in this I ♡ Makeup range. In my opinion, Makeup Revolution has came out with a perfect array of pink to warm shades and since the price too is so cheap at RM39.00 each, there won't be a problem if you wanna become a collector of the entire range ;) I also saw that this Blushing Hearts range have similar look with Too Faced's Sweethearts blusher and based from this review, it seems like we found a dupe!
I was sent the shade Blushing Hearts (yeah, the original name of this blusher range) and as you can see in the images above, it consists of 3 different shades of pink. It is so buttery soft and picking up the product is not a problem at all, it is well-pigmented. The amount of shimmer is just right and it gives a super pretty + healthily glowing cheeks look when blended on the skin. I have worn Blushing Hearts a few times already but sorry I dont have a picture to show because my phone camera cannot detect the colour clearly. You know I don't have a real camera right, I can't fulfill everyone's wish to see how it looks on me. I have oily skin and running around from indoor places to outdoor all day, I found that this blusher stays vibrant for 3 hours max and then only it started to fade a bit. Bear in mind that I don't normally wear heavy makeup, just a layer of CC cream topped with powder foundation and then this blusher. Maybe it will stay longer if I wear all layers of makeup from primer to setting powder, well you know the complete drill dont you :p
Overall, I vote 4/5 for Blushing Hearts because of how awesome it performed after I tested using it more than 3 times already. It wins in all departments; packaging, colour payoff, price, longevity. Even though this is a sponsored product, I shall be very transparent and I'm telling you guys that this blusher is worth buying and using :) I definitely wanna get Blushing Hearts in Peachy Keen next because I just can't resist the colours, hehe! Check out Sabrina's review here if you want to see how Peachy Keen looks like okay?
