Assalamualaikum and hello peeps! Recently I was invited to witness the launch of Scarf Machine by Aidijuma. Wondering what exactly is a scarf machine? If you are aware of the current trend, you'll know the abundance of food trucks in our local landscape right? Well, Scarf Machine is a mobile truck shop selling Aidijuma bawal scarves from the various labels they have such as the Blue label, Black label, White label, Red lable, Pink label and Green label. The differences are in their prices and designs, which you can check at their website for respective categories :)

The founder of Aidijuma brand, Datin Norjuma Habib Mohamed said that this Aidijuma Scarf Machine initiative is a move by their company to get closer to their fans, especially those residing in states that does not have any Aidijuma physical stores yet. Their Scarf Machine will start its tour in Kedah before proceeding to other states. Updates on their whereabouts will be updated on Aidijuma's official Instagram page so keep your eyes peeled!

The ceremony of Aidijuma Scarf Machine was held at Piazza The Curve where there had a massive Aidijuma bawal scarf giveaway, crazy sale on certain labels and also a memorable show by our sweetheart songstress Dato' Siti Nurhaliza. As a first timer in watching her live performance, I can now say that she is indeed a terrific singer as her singing was effortlessly perfect!

Congratulations to Aidijuma for the launch of Aidijuma Scarf Machine ^_^ I applaud their effort for being the first in launching a mobile shop for their scarves and I think it's quite noble of them for trying to get closer to their fans in this way. They're the breakthrough brand daring to experiment in this concept after food trucks, and I wish Aidijuma all the best in the long run.

P/s: This is my honest opinion after wearing Aidijuma bawal scarves (I now have 2 from the Black label). As someone who wears a headscarf, I found that Aidijuma's scarves are worth the price because they're pretty, comfortable to wear, easy to iron, and surprisingly the length and width is reasonable enough to perfectly cover my modesty. Before trying this brand, I thought it must be expensive and not wide enough but they proved my thoughts wrong :) Thank you Aidijuma team for inviting me to the launch event or else I'll never know how good and comfortable your bawal scarves are ^_^

These pictures were taken fresh the moment I unboxed my parcel, hehe! The box containing my KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit was so pretty and huge but sadly it was 80% dented during the courier process so I don't have the heart to photograph it as it looks exactly like it has been trampled by an elephant XD luckily my trial kit survived the shipping ordeal!

I have been religiously using all the products in this kit and I can say that it brings nothing but change and happiness to my skin ^_^ I'm so glad because earlier in my journey, my little friend Setsuko managed to guide me on how to use all the products in this KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit. I feel the responsibility to share with you the step by step before you head to KOSÉ counters to get your kit, so why not we first go and check it out down below :

In all skincare routine, it is crucial that we start with cleaning our canvas first. KOSÉ SEKKISEI White Liqud Wash is specifically designed with Taurine-based cleansing agent in order to clear out impurities on the skin while simultaneously keeping the skin hydrated. Another ingredient in KOSÉ SEKKISEI White Liqud Wash is Rubus Suavissmus extract that works to combat skin dullness and at the same time repairs the UV damage on our skin caused by exposure to the sun. The cleanser is quite milky and I love the after effect it gives on my skin. It does not dry my skin nor does it give any tight feeling. It does not feel harsh at all but it left my skin feeling so clean and I just wish that I have a pile of this as backup!

Now that my sweaty, oily skin has been thoroughly cleansed by KOSÉ SEKKISEI White Liqud Wash, I move on to the second step, which is applying KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion all over my face and neck using a piece of cotton pad. If you are confused with skincare terms, just remember that lotion is equivalent to toner, okay? I call this KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion as the "power liquid" for my skin due to the effects I'm experiencing upon using it. The flowery fragrance is absolutely pleasant to my nose and it kinda gives me a very relaxing feeling, like an aromatherapy session. I love how fresh and cool my skin feels every time I use this KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion and I am glad that I could sometimes see that my cotton pad turns a tiny bit greyish after wiping off my face. As far as I know, it shows that my dead skin layer is being removed as well! I bet now you can already see how the users of KOSÉ SEKKISEI products have translucent, glowing skin ;) trust me, I already forgot my other toners ever since I started using KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion, it's like a no-turning back curse in my skin-toning game!

Oh, remember the Bihadagoyomi masks included in this KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit? Here's how to use them! Simply take it off the stack and immerse one piece of the mask into a pool of KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion ^_^ you can use any tiny cup or just the cap of your KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion to soak the Bihadagoyomi mask. Once it is fully soaked, open the mask and lay it on your face, then go and relax on the couch or on your bed for 10-15 minutes (standard masking procedure) and quench your skin's thirst with the goodness of KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion! Easy peasy right ;)

Don't forget to moisturize! That is why a bottle of KOSÉ SEKKISEI Emulsion is included in your KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit. As a person who is always on the go and always require a short prep time for skincare and makeup, I found this KOSÉ SEKKISEI Emulsion a true saviour because it gets absorbed into my skin pretty fast and it does not leave any traces of greasiness either. I realized that my skin has been behaving at its best with this emulsion on, as in it does not feel too dry though I stay in air-conditioned office for long hours. I will feel pretty sad when I run out of this KOSÉ SEKKISEI Emulsion, I must restock! Oh ya, it smells like heaven too, I'm definitely in love!

I have this one skincare habit at home. When I'm bored, I wear facial mask. I love peel-off type of mask because it's more fun, it doesn't drip of fall from my face, and there's this kind of satisfaction when peeling it off my skin, You get what I'm sayin' brah? So, thanks to my little friend Setsuko's thoughtfulness, we can all have this cute tube of KOSÉ SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask in our trial kit too!

I call this a two in one mask. Function number one : to remove dullness, whitens skin and hydrates skin. Function number two : to scare people around the house and even your neighbour (peek at the window and grin to them) because this whitening mask is black in colour, muehehe~ Verdict? I have nothing to hate about this mask! It is so gentle and it does not hurt my skin when I'm peeling it off. This mask contains Chinese Quince extract that reduces sebum production and it comes with oriental plant extracts that helps in skin whitening. I found that this mask too is very useful in removing whiteheads on my nose. Be careful when squeezing it off the tube as it is quite runny but fret not, and don't judge a mask by its runny-ness because this mask is uber-sticky upon contact with skin surface. See my point is, it does not drip like crazy, it does not drip at all ^_^

Honestly, I was never a fan of any trial kit. I found them to be insufficient most of the time. However with KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit it is totally a different game. I also walk under the sun a few times per day, I don't usually bring and umbrella with me and I can say that with KOSÉ SEKKISEI trial kit at my disposal, my skin is constantly being taken care of and I would be glad to repeat purchase after I finish the last drop of my KOSÉ SEKKISEI lotion and emulsion :)

Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion Review : Quiet Riot

Assalamualaikum and hello! As a late bloomer in the liquid lipstick frenzy, I'm kinda head over heels with them at the moment anyway. If you've been around here long enough, you'll know that I was not much of a lipstick fan. However things have changed and I can safely say that I now have no problem wearing lipstick, in fact I feel awesome when I put them on, hehe!

I was introduced to this Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion by a friend during Estee Lauder Beauty Playground grand opening so I guess why not try it. I bought one in shade 250 Quiet Riot after a swatch spree of numerous shades on the back of my hand. Honestly the range of colours offered is amazing and I think I might come back for more when I have sufficient fund to be wasted on makeup (living a frugal life now thanks to the dwindling economy)

To me, the packaging of this lip potion is clean and sleek. User can see the true colour through the transparent 'window' on the body of the tube. The shade code is labelled at the bottom side of the tube, which is normal for most lip products.

An attribute I love the most in this Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion is the applicator. Unlike most doe-foot applicators in makeup products, it has a curved shape to allow control on how much product you want to have on the applicator and the shape is also very helpful when you're applying the product onto your lips. Talk about precise application ;)

Time for swatches! Quiet Riot is a deep, pinkish fuschia colour and it is definitely not for the faint hearts. There's not much difference in term of the colour payoff when captured in indoor lighting versus how it appears under direct sunlight. Most of the time I found my appearance to be so pleasantly striking (yeah that's how happy I feel alright) when I put Quiet Riot on my lips and honestly by the time I realized that I've fallen in love with this lip potion, it's too late to turn back.

Quality wise, this is the best liquid lip product I've tried so far. The colour is very opaque and I don't need a hefty swipe to make it look bold. A little goes a long way with this Pure Colour Envy Liquid Lip Potion, well at least for the shade Quiet Riot if I may not be so bold in describing for the entire line. It never made my lips dry or chapped and I never experienced any discomfort when wearing it.

This lip potion's staying power is amazing too. I noticed that it doesn't fade if I only have some drinks. With heavy meals, the colour fades about 30% but I have friends asking "what lipstick are you wearing because the colour is still as opaque as before you had that meal" so I guess it's loyal enough to stay through meals :p Anyway, you need to be wary that the colour kinda transfers to all surfaces that your lips touch.

I'm not much of a selfie person lately so here's the latest picture of me wearing Quiet Riot on my lips. It's appearance might differ from the swatches above due to the bright sunlight I was exposed to in this picture but I hope you can get a hint on how pretty the shade is, hehe!

I'm gonna admit that the price tag is quite hefty but I guess if you're irrevocably in love with something (and when it especially comes with undeniably good quality) maybe you won't mind paying. I don't know if there is a perfect dupe at a cheaper price but as per now I am very comfortable with Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion ^_^ hoping to try more shades soon!
