REVIEW : Burt's Bees Sensitive Night Cream with Cotton Extract

Monday, November 18, 2013

Assalamualaikum and hello!

I just wanna share a bit about my favourite night cream so far :) I actually never had a proper night cream before I get this one. Why? Because I was too lazy and I thought I just wanna let my skin be on its own at night, free from being slathered with anything, hehe. But ever since I learned that our skin undergoes the necessary repairs when we sleep, I decided to change my perception ^_^

I got this Burt's Bees Sensitive Night Cream from Bag of Love (June bag) facebook giveaway. Actually I won for the Cupuacu Butter lotion but Mimi told me that Burt's Bees sent the night cream instead, which I don't mind at all coz I don't have any, hehe! I thing I really love about BoL is because they let subscribers give feedback about the items in the bag and stand a chance to win some full sized products ^_^

This night cream comes in a glass jar with sturdy plastic lid. Since I'm not a fan of dipping my fingers into the product, I usually turn the jar upside down to get some product sticking on the inside of the lid, so that I can just take it from there.

The product has a slightly creamy consistency but when spread evenly, it sinks into my skin effortlessly without feeling greasy, thick or heavy. It does not have any sweet or weird scent, but I detected a very light scent which I don't know how to describe =_='' It's not something plastic-y or chemical, oh well since it has cotton extract, maybe it's the smell of cotton? what am I talking

I have been wearing this night cream for a few months, and I can say that it is a good product to try if you're looking for a decent night cream. I woke up with a less greasy face, and my skin definitely feels hydrated and soft. I won't say that it gives any miraculous changes on my skin since it's property is just for hydration and also because I don't really have much problem besides oily skin and seasonal pimples. Overall, if you feel like using a night cream that is not too fancy and suits all skin types (since it is made for the sensitive range), give this product a try :)

So, what's your favorite night cream?
