Since ancient times, women's inner strength can only be seen through their roles of giving birth to new life, taking care and protecting their family. But as time passed, women began demonstrating their capabilities in undertaking more responsibilities, raising a family as well as being part of the workforce and contributing to social welfare. As evolution enhanced the confidence level of every woman allowing them to showcase their inner strength, they still recognized the importance of physical beauty and strive to maintain their outer beauty through various means.-Shizens Malaysia
Assalamualaikum and hello! So, I guess you guys can clearly see now what this post is all about ;) Shizens Malaysia has launched a competition in acknowledging women and appreciating women's effort through "STAND FIRM STAY FIRM" photo contest commencing from 2nd April 2014 till 30th April 2014. There are 2 categories that all of us can participate in, which is the Photography Enthusiast category (using compact camera or DSLR) and Mobile Photography category (using mobile phone cameras). Shoots that shows strong emotions, human and feminine side of a woman are among the highlighted aspect that can help participants to submit their photos.
"This campaign aims to display the outer beauty of a woman while also revealing their inner strength, which serves as an encouragement for them to stand firm within our society."-Shizens Malaysia

To submit your participation, pictures for Photography Enthusiast category can be submitted through http://www.standfirmstayfirm.com/participate/ while pictures for Mobile Photography category can be submitted via the same link or through Instagram with hashtag #standfirmstayfirm to win prizes worth more than RM18,000.
Rules for Photography Enthusiast category :
-must use compact camera or DSLR
-minimum size of image must be 5MB
-studio photography with lightning is allowed
-click here to submit your photos
Rules for Mobile Photography category :
-must use mobile phone cameras or any other mobile devices to take picture
-submission via Instagram must use hashtag #standfirmstayfirm
-mobile images may also be submitted through here
