2013 Favourite Facial Cleanser

Monday, December 09, 2013

Assalamualaikum and hello!

December is passing real past, and in a blink of eye 2014 will peek thru your window, boo! So before I forget and gets real busy with final exam, I better make this happen first ^_^ Ah well, my final exam starts on the 1st of January 2014. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT OH MY GOODNESS!

Alright, cut the drama :p Anyhoos, I never know any soul (at least, women) who does not care about her face. Women love beauty, and beauty is portrayed through a woman, no matter how she looks. You're special, remember? ^_^ So having a functioning facial cleanser is important because it helps you a lot in achieving a healthy, clear skin. Why functioning? Because you can try 100 different facial cleansers and still cannot find one that actually helps your skin. I've been through that =_='' till I hit 21.

In case you haven't heard of it, I have oily combination skin, and I personally think that oily skin is the bitchiest scene I ever dealt with in my entire life. So my primary concern when choosing a cleanser is its oil-control property which after use does not leave my skin feeling tight or feel like a plastic surface. Without further ado, let me present to you my favourite facial cleansers of 2013 ^_^

1. Yadah Bubble Deep Cleanser [FULL REVIEW HERE]

Truthfully, this one is the first cleanser that actually works on my skin. And to make it sweeter, I won it from Yadah's facebook giveaway so save me some RM49, hehe~ I started using this cleanser together with my Olay Professional Pro-X Cleanser coz I'm damn poor to buy a Clarisonic somewhere in March 2013. My skin got smoother, my pimples cleared away, I don't get breakouts at all, and the rate of oiliness on my face reduced. Oh, I used it together with Yadah Vitamin Toner and Emulsion as well. It is also my first bubble cleanser ever. It smells divine, I love the foam and everything was perfect, period.

2. Oslee Hydra White Facial Cleansing Powder [wait for the review!]

I got this from Mivva beauty box, the mother's day edition, also my first powder cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean, hydrated and it has an instant brightening effect as well. Skin felt smooth upon cleansing, and no breakouts experienced as well. I don't know how to describe it anymore but it's just like love at first cleanse, hehe! Wanna know how I use it? I simply pour some powder onto my wet palm, wet my other palm, rub it together until it foams and then I cleanse my face. Easy!! One more plus point, it is in powder form so it's perfect for travelling ^_^

3. Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Gel Cleanser [wait for the review!]

I bought this with a coupon from Women's Weekly (Buy 1 free 1). It has a clear light green gel texture, non-foamy and it smells like waterfall, so sweet and refreshing! I love to use it for morning cleansing routine coz it made me feel awake ;) This cleanser is just so soft like a mother and it makes my skin feel bouncy, soft, and hydrated. I also got to try its toner as well and I super duper love it! It doesn't help clear blemishes though, but it's a good cleanser, worth to be tried and definitely a must have! Not drying, no tight feeling on skin, awesome!

So, what do you think of my favourite facial cleansers? I hope my post helps, and if you're searching for good facial cleansers, you might wanna try my favourites ^_^ Tell me if you're a user too, I'd like to hear your thoughts!

  2. I tried one similar to the OSLee, under Suiskin brand. But didn't use that one anymore because the thing is expensive T^T maybe OSLee could be an alternative lol :D
