Mini Haul : Etude House & The Body Shop

Assalamualaikum and hello ^_^
I am itching to blog but my super long post is not done yet, still halfway through editing the pictures. So, let me entertain you guys with my mini haul I got yesterday :) I actually asked my mom to bring me out just to buy The Body Shop's tea tree oil. But then as I pass through Etude House, I saw the buy 1 free 1 poster standing on the easel outside the shop. It took me 2 times passing by Etude House and I can't stand it so yeah, I went inside the shop XD long story short, the SA successfully wooed me into purchasing which I did not regret at all coz it was a good spending ;) Let's see what I bought!
At Etude House, I focused on the Wonder Pore Freshner (I thought the spelling should be Freshener) because I have read millions of reviews saying that this is an excellent product and nobody hate it, in fact, those who own Wonder Pore Freshner will surely continue to their second bottle and third and fourth till forever
Initially, I was torn between buying single package (like below) or the limited/special edition of Wonder Pore Freshner and Wonder Pore Whipping Foaming oh god why their names are weird but then the SA told me that the limited edition set is not applicable for buy 1 free 1 and the size of Wonder Pore Freshner in it is just 250ml and they are RM139.90 per set. So she took the 500ml Wonder Pore Freshner and 200ml Wonder Pore Whipping Foaming, gave it to me and say "for RM79.90 you get both of these, better than the limited edition set". I immediately said okay I'm buying :p
Yeayyy, now my previously bought Wonder Pore White Clay Clear mask [review here] has a happy family ^_^
Now lets meet the primary reason I went out shopping yesterday, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil, which is priced at RM35 for 10ml. If you have been following my recent posts, I did mention about having serious acne breakout that comes out of nowhere and many blemish solutions I tried just won't work. So I decided to try tea tree oil instead. I first used my Heaven On Earth Tea Tree Essential Oil [review here] and then I ran out of it, so I used the trial size of The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil that I got from Seventeen magazine and fell in love with it. Since the breakouts are disappearing at a slow pace, I told myself that I need to get the full size of Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil and use it till all the breakouts are fully healed. I am in process of making a comparison post between these two tea tree oils I am using to treat breakouts that can't be tamed by the blemish treatments I have, so stay tuned! I know many people need to know how awesome tea tree oil is, you just have to be patient and stay positive to avoid more breakouts popping out ;)

wooo dunno y now i nvr like buying stuff frm bodyshop already....i aso hv the wonderpore...i haven try yet..gaga jus remind me I have so many item that I hv not use up!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletei only buy from TBS if I need it, like this tea tree oil, hehe! Finish your current toner first and then open the wonderpore, haha! but i believe we all have too much toner already XD

ReplyDeleteGo buy their products when they have the buy 1 free 1 promo, totally worth it since their products in Msia are damn expensive (imho coz we're still studying and money doesnt come easily unless we're millionaires). They always have buy 1 free 1, like every 2-3 months or during special seasons ^_^

ReplyDeleteyeayy ada geng suka the same brand and products ^_^ tea tree oil ni betul2 penyelamat kan, walaupun sometimes the effect agak lambat tapi it works!
DeleteYes the Wonder Pore Freshner is awesome ^_^. I bought the 500 ml too. Came across your blog because I saw some article stated that tea tree oil from Body Shop is good. It might be good to mix the oil with some honey and aloe vera too :) I have never tried Body Shop before but Etude House is great. I missed their buy 1 free 1 promotion recently because I am very absent-minded lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Chiko, nice seeing you here ^_^ I personally have tried 2 diff brands of tea tree oil, body shop and heaven on earth. both are good but since heaven on earth is pure essential oil, it's a bit too drying on my skin. I will try mixing the tea tree oil with some honey and aloe vera, thanks for the suggestion! Dont worry over the b1f1 promo, Etude House will always have it evenry 2-3 months or during festive seasons, i recognized the pattern already, hehe
